LSM-20 sinking after a Kamikaze attack in December 1944 off Ormoc, Leyte.

This ship was built in Texas and commissioned earlier that year. 900 tons with dimensions 61 meters long by 10 meters beam. The LSM (Landing Ship Medium) was capable of carrying three heavy tanks or nine DUKW's with 54 soldiers.  Some survivors can be seen in the water.

The book is a must for all those diving in the Philippines.  More than 50 wreck dive sites are included. All within the 40 meter depth.  Amongst the pages you will also find indicators to which ships are likely to still hold treasure and specific locations that may reveal new wreck sites.
